Every year at the beginning of August, Sinj turns into the cultural centre of the whole country. On the first Sunday in August, the famous knight’s historic tournament – Sinjska Alka, the pride and joy of Sinj, is held. During this period, the town bustles with various visitors, from politically influential people, numerous public personae’s, to all the other interested visitors and citizens.
