DUMP Nights is a meetup series for students and young people interested in design, programming, marketing or technology who want to meet others with similar interests. Each edition brings a new topic and new speakers, followed by a relaxed social gathering where you can ask questions, exchange experiences and meet new people.
The next edition will take place on October 14 at 6:00 PM at the Regional Science Center Adriatic (20 Ruđera Boškovića Street). This time, DUMP Nights is being organized in collaboration with FESB Racing. Through the presentation “0–100: From Idea to Finish Line”, Marin Džaja, Hrvoje Dražić and Duje Pletikosić will take you through the entire development process of a student racing car and motorcycle — from the initial idea and design to production, testing and competing in races.
What does it take to bring a project like this to life? What knowledge, people, resources and organization are behind the development of a racing vehicle, and what technical challenges does the team face along the way? In addition to sharing their experience from competitions on race tracks across Europe, the speakers will also talk about the preparations, challenges and what it is like to compete in the races themselves.
After the presentation, there will be a game where visitors can win prizes, followed by a social gathering with food and drinks.

Hileja Marina Trail

Following the success of last year’s edition, Hileja Trail returns to Marina on 14 November 2026. The race combines sea and mountain landscapes, a sporting challenge, good company and the relaxed Dalmatian atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer after crossing the finish line.
The name Hileja takes us back to the distant past of this area, to the former Hyllean Peninsula, known to the ancient Greeks. In the same spirit, the three race routes are named after heroes from ancient mythology.
Three routes – choose your Hileja:
Heraklo – 15 km: The longest and most demanding route, designed for those looking for a true trail challenge and an opportunity to explore the hinterland of Marina.
Hil – 8 km: A perfect middle ground between the short and long routes, offering enough of a challenge while still leaving time to enjoy the trail.
Diomed – 4 km: Short and fast for those who want to race, but pleasant and accessible for those who prefer walking. An excellent choice for beginners, families and younger runners, as well as for those who enjoy giving it their all.
And after the race – fjaka. Hileja is more than just a race. Marina awaits in its peaceful autumn setting, with the start and finish near the iconic Marina Tower, good local food, socialising and an atmosphere worth staying for a few more hours.
